Terry Kronick, Sandy Pomerantz Reed, Beth Newhard, Andrea Conklin

Sandy Pomerantz Reed, President, has built Travel World into what it is today, one of the premier travel agencies in the midwest.  She understands that the highest quality of service has to be delivered by the best consultants in the business. Her team has an average of over 11 years experience, which is unheard of in our industry today. Her 15 years in travel encompassing retail sales, management and ownership gives her a total understanding of what both the leisure and corporate clients needs are.  Sandy is a committed community activist and serves on boards of major corporations and organizations. Sandy attended the University of Oklahoma and completed her BA at Iowa State University. She also earned her Master Cruise Counselor certification in 2004.

 Having started in the medical field as a licensed registered nurse,  Beth Newhard brings a great passion and desire to help people. She joined Travel World in 1999 and has expanded her knowledge and expertise not only in management but in escorting groups, corporations and helping with Special Events. Beth has traveled to over 45 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and the Caribbean.  She brings first hand experience in working with her clients. 

Travel World welcomed Andrea Conklin to our organization in 2004. Her past work experience in retail, customer service and as an administrative assistant allows her to acknowledge the value of great customer service and solid relationships when working with her clients. She is a Destination Specialist for Hawaii, the Caribbean and heads our weddings, honeymoons, and family vacations department. Andrea has an Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, and Interior Design Consulting from Des Moines Area Community College.

Terry Kronick, a past District Sales Manager for the Walt Disney Company for 10 years and 6 years in leisure travel, heads our leisure division and is a Destination Specialist for many areas of the world. She specializes in cruises, Disney vacations, family vacations, and honeymoons. Her vast travel experience allows her great knowledge to some of the world's wonderful destinations. Terry also works with Cruise & Leisure Groups  . She is well known and respected in her field. Terry has a degree in Business & Marketing.
